Said to date as far back as 300 B.C, the actual word “cherry’ was named after the town of Cerasus in ancient Greece. Too tart to be eaten raw, tart cherries have been used in the region for centuries to make jams, syrups, baked goods or simply dried which concentrates their natural sugar content.

Our tart cherries are grown in organic certified fields, with the ideal conditions of frost and sun. Picked at just the right ripeness and dried to perfection.
